April is shaping up to be a big month at OTA Playhouse. From live bands to DJ nights to open mic sessions, there’s something for everyone on the calendar.
Highlights include our weekly Resonance Tap Takeover every Wednesday (free entry, new beer releases, and local DJ sets), DJ Open Decks on Saturdays where anyone can sign up for a slot, and a special Friday night live music showcase featuring touring artists from across Southeast Asia.
Our sports bar will also be screening major league fixtures with sound on, cold beers, and late-night food from our in-house vendors.

Meet Resonance — Our On-Site Craft Brewery
OTA Playhouse is home to Hoi An’s only on-site craft brewery. Resonance Brewing Co. brews fresh, bold, music-inspired beers right here in the building — and every can tells the story of a sound, a band, a feeling.
The launch lineup features four signature beers: Lizard King (a tropical pale ale), Godfather of Punk (a rich stout), Hazy Stardust (a juicy hazy IPA), and Dazed and Hopfused (a heavyweight double IPA).
Head brewer explains: “We wanted beers with character. Every beer has a personality — just like the music that inspired it. And because we brew on-site, what you’re drinking is as fresh and local as it gets.”
Visit the brewery bar on the ground floor to try all four on tap, or pick up cans to take home.
Grand Opening Night — Hoi An’s Newest Venue
After months of construction and planning, OTA Playhouse officially opened its doors to the public last weekend. Hundreds of locals and visitors gathered on Nguyen Phuc Chu street to be the first inside Hoi An’s largest indoor entertainment venue.
The night featured live music across three stages, craft beer tastings courtesy of our on-site brewery partner Resonance, and guided tours of all eight spaces — from the games hall to the rooftop cocktail lounge.
“We built OTA because Hoi An deserved a proper venue,” said the team. “Somewhere you can catch a live band, grab a craft beer, shoot some pool, and stay out past midnight — all under one roof.”
